Longview Advisors Salon Series

Longview Advisors is a buying agent that acts for private clients to find, rent and buy properties in Prime Central London and the countryside.

At the next in-person event in March, Longview will be discussing the market for property in the countryside. They will be joined by a buying agent who lives in the Cotswolds, where he has specific knowledge of this special area of England. 

Our latest Salon Series with Longview Advisors was held on January 26, at the law offices of Boodle Hatfield. 

Longview presented an overview of the unique characteristics of the UK property market and a snapshot of the current situation in Prime Central London. Partners from Boodle Hatfield were on hand to answer questions about the legal, tax and immigration issues US persons face when purchasing property in the UK. 

There was a lively discussion, as many members and their partners wanted to find out more about engaging a buying agent, how stamp duty is calculated, and how to be positioned as the best applicant when buying or renting.
